Limousine and Charter Related Questions

Limousines are usually reserved for special events or high-profile clients and many people don't have the occasion to ever ride in one. When it comes time to charter a limo service there are always plenty of questions to ask and we're more than happy to help with the answers.

1. How much does it cost to rent a limo in Tucson?
That's the big question and ultimately the best answer is just to say it depends. We have to consider things like availability, season, distance traveled, type of vehicles chartered, hours of the trip, et cetera. Our rates are not the least expensive and nor are they the most expensive and when you inquire about a quote we think you'll be pleased.

Something important to consider when pricing around for limo and sedan services is the final cost. Some companies offer a low number per hour but they end up charging you for things like fuel and luggage handling fees and all sorts of added fees. Our quotes are generally all inclusive and that means that you'll never get stuck with tacked-on charges.

We are extremely confident that when you use our company for service you'll be glad that you did.

2. What comes inside of the limos?
Our limousines are fully stocked after every reservation. We restock each limo with a full, new supply of clean, fresh ice in the ice buckets, plenty of bottled water and an assortment of carbonated beverages. We provide full glassware and stemware for your drinks as well as napkins. We include a bottle of wine or champagne for our wedding packages as well as a red carpet for the bride and 'Just Married' signage for the limo.

Our limos are equipped with rear stereo systems that allow our guests to bring their own CDs and control the volume and sound. We have iPod jacks installed too so that if you'd like to hear your favorite playlist you can bring in your iPod.

3. Can I hire a limo for just an hour?
If you only require the use of a limousine for a period of time that is less than three hours then we'll have to negotiate some different rates and fares. Almost always there is a minimum service time for limousines and this is usually three hours. This number makes it economically possible to even operate a limo and otherwise it would be too expensive to operate limousines. That said, we don't ever want to say no and we're open to understanding the situation. If there is something we can do to help we certainly will. The other option is that we adjust the rate a bit to offset the lower number of hours required.

4. Can you drive us to Vegas, baby?!
When? Now? You can bet on it. The more time you allow us advanced notice the better but Vegas runs are usually anything but pre-planned. You're goin' to Vegas, baby, Vegas!

5. Can you pick me up at Sky Harbor Airport and bring me back down to Tucson?
We certainly can. Using our luxury-class transportation services are actually a lot less expensive than some other alternatives out there and there are a lot more pros than cons when considering our City to City Service.

6. Can I make a reservation online and have everything handled electronically?
As it stands now you can submit your transportation request [dates, times, location, et cetera] to us through this site via our CONTACT US page. We are rolling out our more polished Reservation Request Form very soon and that will probably cover the whole process.

7. What's a fair amount to tip my driver?
Not all transportation companies work the same way and what holds true with our drivers might not for other companies. That said, our drivers will typically prep everything prior to his appointment with his guest. He also will spend a fair amount of time after the trip is completed making sure the vehicle is inspected and all of the rest that goes with vehicle usage. If you've chartered a limo for just a few hours you can bet the driver had a couple of hours of time on each end of that trip.

A 15% tip is considered a decent base to median gratuity and a 20 or 25% tip is considered generous.

8. Why do you automatically add a tip before the trip even starts?
This is never something we simply do automatically but in a great number of cases where we have a corporate client or large group it is customary to include the gratuity initially for a few different reasons. More often than not a gratuity is factored into our rate quote as a convenience to our clients. It saves them time and becomes one less thing they have to worry about. For larger groups it alleviates an inevitable situation where handfuls of people are trying to determine who hasn't yet paid their share of the tip. Additionally, many individual private clients prefer to add the gratuity when they reserve their trip as to have it already taken care of when the trip is over.

Large groups are akin to big tables in restaurants and it's customary to add the tip for those larger parties. - What's most important to consider is that if you are ever in the situation where a driver was apportioned a gratuity but you feel like it was not well-deserved and you wouldn't have given it yourself please let us know. We will happily rectify such a situation and would gladly issue a refund on any gratuity you felt was not deserved.

9. I'd like to have a number of trips all be billed to one credit card at one time. Can you do this?
Absolutely. We handle groups of people and individuals that frequently use our services and processing a credit card for each and every trip can be tedious. We have plenty of options to accommodate your needs and can happily apply a group of trips to one account or we can establish an in-house charge account for you at no cost. 10. Can I have a tour of the limo before I decide on going with your company for service?
